What we do…
Audit
We’ll take a detailed look at your current hosting and see how exactly what you’ve got, where it is and how it is setup. From this we’ll produce a detailed plan of your current infrastructure, including looking for redundant domains, sites and apps that may no longer needed so they can be backed up and removed before any migrations take place.
Plan, review & test
Whether it is 1 or 100 sites, every site is given its own migration plan to makes sure nothing is overlooked and we’ll update you with every step of the way so you know exactly what is happening.
Our plans will make recommendations on what you may want to do before the migration takes place to make sure everything runs smoothly.
For anything out of the ordinary we’ll carry out test migrations first, to make sure everything works as expected.
We don’t just migrate files and databases either, we make sure every aspect of your hosting is copied across such as mailboxes, DNS records and even cron jobs.
Migrate & secure
We will migrate your sites one by one, at a time that suits you and your customers. Usually this can be done with minimal or no downtime as we can divert traffic from the old server to the new until DNS changes take effect, we even re-sync mailboxes to make sure all your e-mails are copied across and up to date.
When your sites are copied across your customers will immediately benefit from our secure hosting and also the additional security hardening of WordPress we carry out for total piece of mind.
As part of a migration we can also help you update WordPress and any associated plugins using our AI based smart update tools, just ask for a demonstration and we’ll would be happy to show you.
Once a has been completed we take a full backup of your old hosting for safe keeping.
Test
Each and every website is tested to make sure it is working as expected, in the rare situation any faults are found they will be fixed straight away by us.
